The Lionheart story
I was born in the Black Forest, a magic region in Southwest Germany.
Having studied film & media in Stuttgart, I started my professional path creating corporate films for Mercedes-Benz, BOSCH and other companies. During the mid-90s I was responsible for creating the first corporate TV for Mercedes-Benz and – together with two partners – created an agency.
Around 2008, my first ‘dark night of the soul’ hit me. By then I knew nothing of the spiritual path and an odyssey began, consulting doctors, psychologists and clinics to find out why I was suffering from depression, panic disorders and two false heart attacks. I was going down completely until I finally understood:
I am not on my heart’s path.
I left the agency and started from scratch.
Creating my first feature film ‘The Big Black’ and 2015 finally leaving my ‘old life’ behind and living in a campervan, together with my wife, our then 2 year old daughter and two chihuahuas.
We created the ‘children’s cosmos’, interviewing children all over Europe on their dreams for the future.
From 2015 – 2019 we filmed the trilogy ‘One planet. One family’, conscious documentaries on the simple truth that all Life on this planet is our family.
In an old Volkswagen van we travelled from Mexico to Panama, then lived in Colombia, Perú and now Mexico.
2025 we released the final part of the film trilogy ‘The Golden Tribe’, an audiovisual guide to human’s awakening.
These days, I strongly feel that it is time to share my decade-long experience in filmmaking with the younger generation(s). Thus creating the online course ‘Serendipity filmmaking’ that will start in fall 2025.
